Dr. Burkett was born and raised in Ft. Worth Texas and attended Texas A&M University where he received a degree in Construction Science. He worked as a project manager for 7 years in commercial construction before finding his passion for dentistry. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 2023 and has worked in private practice dentistry since then.
Dr. Burkett’s journey to dentistry was paved by his love of working with his hands and desire to care for people. Dr. Burkett loves his relationships with his patients and always strives to help them achieve healthy and fruitful lives. He truly believes smiles and laughter are the best medicine.
Dr. Burkett has been married to his amazing wife, Kelly, for 15 years. They have three active boys who keep them on their toes!
In his spare time, Dr. Burkett has no shortage of hobbies, spanning from woodworking to automotive work to camping. Odds are if he is not at work, he is probably lost in his garage taking apart a chainsaw or crawling around under his truck. Talking with patients about hobbies is one of his favorite things to do!
Dr. Burkett is an active member at The Parks Church in McKinney and his family is so thankful to be part of such an amazing faith community. Dr. Burkett’s faith is what guides his decisions and actions every day.
