Dr. Andrew Kung
DDS, FAGD, FICOI
As a Plano native who moved back to Dallas after studying on both coasts at UCLA and New York University (NYU) Dental School, Dr. Kung is thrilled to be serving patients and families from the very same community he grew up in. His approach to oral healthcare emphasizes positivity, comfort, and personal choice above all else. He sees dentistry as an intersection of science, technology and artistry. Dr. Kung thoughtfully embraces dental advancements to bring his patients the best comprehensive dental care to help empower them on their health journey.Dr. Kung has pursued advanced level training in numerous areas including implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, clear aligners, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Kung was awarded the Fellowship award from the International Congress of Implantologists, recognizing his commitment to implantology and surgical procedures. In addition, he is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to provide Botox to his patients. Dr. Kung is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction only about 6% of general dentists in North America hold.

Dr. Gino Silvestrere

Born in Hawaii, Dr. Gino has also called Guam, California, and Texas his home. Dr. Gino studied at University of California, Irvine and Loma Linda, School of Dentistry and was hand-picked by Dr. Kung to join forces to take care of patients. Dr. Gino is committed to providing his patients at Vitality Dental with high-quality, comfortable, and personalized care. He believes the foundation of a healthy smile is a trusting relationship, which is why he focuses on clear communication and gentle techniques, ensuring every patient feels at ease. Dr. Gino combines his passion for dentistry with his unique skills as a creative and influential social media creator to make dentistry approachable and relatable. His tenacity and consistency is evident in his social media as well as his dentistry. Dr. Gino has dedicated his time to advanced level courses in cosmetic dentistry and as well as American Academy of Implant Dentistry implant and surgical courses. Dr. Gino is part of the Academy of General Dentistry and currently working towards his Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Brian Son
DDS
Dr. Son grew up in New Jersey and migrated south to Emory University followed by University of Southern California (USC) for dental school. Dr. Son is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care while continuously perfecting his craft. He believes a healthier smile can change so much more than people realize and he loves being a part of that journey. Dr. Son has found his passion for restoring patients’ smiles with implants and has committed himself to honing his skills and staying up to date with implant education to offer patients best care. Dr. Son has completed extensive implant training with American Academy of Implant Dentistry implant. Dr. Son is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to provide Botox to his patients. Dr. Son is part of the Academy of General Dentistry and currently working towards his Fellowship in AGD as well as pursing American Academy of Implant Dentistry Diplomate status.

Comprehensive First Dental Visit
Once you’ve filled out the necessary paperwork and have been called to the treatment area, we’ll begin the process of cleaning and checking your smile. During your first appointment, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive examination that includes X-rays; that way we can check for problems in the jaw and other areas that would otherwise go unseen. Our goal is to get a complete picture of the state of your mouth so that we can make a long-term plan to protect your smile.
We Cater to Those with Dental-Phobia
If you’re afraid of visiting the dentist, you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Roughly 75 percent of adults in the United States are anxious or fearful of dental appointments to some degree. We understand these fears and will do everything we can to put them to rest. This naturally includes the use of different forms of dental sedation, which helps your mind and body relax to the point where you hardly even care about what is going on around you.
We Love Our Community
Dr. Kung grew up in Plano, and as such he’s excited to be able to give back to his community in more ways than one. He is pleased to work with Plano Senior High School, which is located near our dental office. Dr. Kung enjoys dental mission trips where dental care is provided to people in cities in countries with limited access to care. He also enjoys volunteering with the Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM), a mobile dental clinic that travels around the state to provide free basic dental care to those who need it. Recently, our team at Vitality Dental – Dentist Plano has also had the opportunity to work with TMOM in order to help provide quality care to the larger community.
